Because we have extra inset days to move to the new school, we are providing some optional homework you may wish to complete.

Reading

Complete the reading comprehension about Forces. The answers are below.

Writing

Using the picture below, can you write a story in less than 100 words?

When authors create stories, they select every word carefully. Can you do the same? Using the picture above, can you write a story in less than 100 words? With such a small word count, every word is important. Make them all count!

Maths

• Please spend some time over these days to practise your timestables. Log onto Times Table Rockstars and complete some of the various challenges.
• There are two logic puzzles for you to choose from. Choose between the football team formation or party seating plan. Both puzzles require you to follow a set of clues to organise either the footballers or party guests into the correct places.
• There are two maths investigations for you to choose from. Again, only complete one. (Sticks or Ice-cream)
